About Our High Holy Day Services

About Congregation Yemei Teshuva

Congregation Yemei Teshuva (CYTBW) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2013/5774. Our sole mission is to create a meaningful, inclusive, and spiritually enriching High Holy Day experience — exclusively for members of Boca West Country Club, their families, and their guests.

We gather only once a year, during the High Holy Days, to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur together in a warm and welcoming setting. Services are held in the beautiful Ballroom of the Golf and Activities Center at Boca West Country Club — a familiar and comfortable space where congregants can reflect, pray, and connect as a community. While we are not affiliated with Boca West Country Club, Congregation Yemei Teshuva is proudly sponsored and managed by a devoted group of its members.

Our Services

Led by Rabbi Scott Shpeen and Cantor Shira Ginsburg, and supported by a professional choir, musicians, and experienced shofar blowers, our services blend traditional liturgy with heartfelt participation. The atmosphere is reverent yet accessible, designed to resonate with individuals and families of all backgrounds and levels of observance.

Each season includes a full schedule of High Holy Day services — from Rosh Hashanah evening through Yom Kippur’s concluding Neilah and Havdalah. All are welcome to join us in worship, reflection, and renewal.

High Holy Day Services at Boca West

Tickets and Attendance

Because seating is limited, tickets are required for attendance and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. A modest donation of $180 per person helps cover clergy, music, venue, and security costs. Each ticket includes admission to all High Holy Day services, and no one is turned away due to financial need. Boca West members, their families, and guests are warmly invited to attend.

Yizkor Memorials and Giving

At the heart of Yom Kippur is remembrance. Each year, we publish a printed and online Yizkor Memorial Book to honor the lives and legacies of loved ones. Contributions for Yizkor memorials help sustain the congregation and ensure the continued beauty of our High Holy Day services. Yizkor Name Memorials are $18 for each name.

As a nonprofit, CYTBW relies on the generous support of our community. All donations are tax-deductible and directly fund clergy, music, prayer materials, and other service needs. Please go to our Ritual Items page to see what some Donors have provided our Congregation, that truly enhance our experiences.

Community and Participation

Congregation Yemei Teshuva is a unique seasonal congregation with no year-round membership or dues — our community comes together for the sacred days of reflection and renewal. Volunteers play a valued role each year, helping welcome guests and support the flow of services.
